Lelethu - Executive Accommodation in Harare

Wow!! How time flies.
It has already been 2 years before I posted on this blog and yet we have grown so much with the #VisitZimbabwe tourism and hospitality marketing campaign and brand.
We now even have a logo well that is almost reaching its first birthday since its release, and we have hit thousands of kilometres across Zimbabwe to various beautiful destinations within our world of wonders - Zimbabwe. Anyway, enough of the blubber (you obviously have more stories to peruse before jumping off this blog.

A friend of mine recently mentioned Lelethu Guest House to me in a random conversation. Being the Publisher of the Zimbabwe Hotels and Restaurants Directory, it beat me that if this Lelethu Guest House was worth any mention how I had never come across it.
So I decided to pay them a visit, while at the same time making it my  Workers' Day treat because trust me, this year has been super busy for my travel buddy at #VisitZimbabwe (Patrick) and I as we prepare to launch our brand in a new way.
Lelethu Guest House is situated in the serene suburbs of Alexandra Park in Harare. It is a short walk away from the Harare Botanical Gardens, which happen to be the closest recreational activity to the Guest Lodge to a visitor to Harare. Alexandra Park is a mere 5 minutes outside of the CBD and therefore a perfect distance away from the madness of the CBD while also close enough to access any business meetings in the town centre or otherwise.
It offers beautiful and spacious rooms on bed and breakfast terms although other meals can be can be organised for if requested from the management. There is a clean and cosy dining room where breakfast is served up to 10 am.

The rooms are luxuriously decorated by a top notch interior decorator- www.manhataninteriors.co.zw giving each room an elegant and unique finish. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, are air-conditioned, have a mini- fridge, television sets with DSTV and also there is unlimited WIFI internet.

The gardens are well manicured with a clean swimming pool for guests only. Each room has a little balcony that enables direct access to one's room without necessarily having to go through the main reception, thus giving it an extra sense of privacy.

Personally, I would rather stay in this small property than in the larger hotels seeing it can easily compete in the 3-4 star rated accommodation category. Being family managed, this small property is an example of how smaller hospitality units can be a better choice for the modern business traveller.

Feel free to check out their website on www.lelethu.com  for further information.
